Rufus owns and operates Ambient Media, which he founded in 2009. He has performed technical services and support for special events and concerts since 1991, over 50,000 working hours.
He maintains a friendly, no-nonsense approach to the technical needs of events and clients, always mindful of aesthetics, function, balance, and impact for the audience. He pays great attention to prior planning and strives for a clean, uncluttered site execution. He is thorough and professional in any setting, and has high expectations for colleagues and associates. He lends a wealth of knowledge and experience to any situation. He has high standards in customer service and as a business owner, focusing on doing every project right the first time, every time.

In past years he has been employed by the most reputable sound, lighting, and staging companies in SC and the southeast, and provided many various freelance services as well.
